Hope you enjoyed the walk.

I'll leave you now, in the words of Sir Edmund Hillary, "high in the thin cold air" of the 5000m ridge behind this the fourth of the Gokyo lakes. Behind you and to the right, beyond the Ngozumpa glacier (pronounced Naga Jumba by the Sherpas, it's Nepal's largest) lies the base camp at the foot of Cho Oyu. To your left, the glacier winds past the Cholatse, and Gyachung Kang Peaks. Far ahead, white clouds are billowing up to obscure Mt. Kantega. Enjoy the view.
